A worldwide fellowship, born of a shared love for the game
The idea was first discussed at the Rotary International Assembly at Nashville in 1986. After years of exchanges between India, South Africa and the West Indies, the International Fellowship of Cricket Loving Rotarians was formally launched on 25th May 1993 in the Long Room of the Melbourne Cricket Club.
Today, tours and World Festivals span Australia, India, New Zealand, South Africa, Sri Lanka, the United Kingdom and beyond — because IFCR is not just about playing cricket. It is the excuse that brings together the fellowship Rotary and cricket combine so uniquely.
