Games Bond ’015

Games Bond ’015 was the brainchild of the late, much-loved, world president of the International Fellowship of Cricketing Rotarians (IFCR) Kittu Krishnaswami (known generally as Kittu) of Chennai, India.

His concept of a cultural and sporting festival was executed brilliantly in his home city between February 1 and February 6 this year with cricket and tennis events bringing together Rotarians from many different countries.

Fifteen Rotarians from Bangladesh led by PDG Ishtiaque who had their first taste of Rotary cricket added an extra element to the games while nine Rotarians and partners from Lithuania participated in the cultural side and the wheelchair tennis demonstration.

A special celebration of the life of Kittu was held on February 4 with many of his long-term friends paying tributes to him and Nandini, his wife of 50 years.
